Amanda Hampsey is standing to be the next Scottish Conservative and Unionist Member of Parliament for Argyll, Bute and South Lochaber. She will serve as a strong and effective voice for residents of the constituency.
Amanda is currently a member of Argyll and Bute Council representing Oban South and the Isles. She was first elected in the local elections in 2022 and has since been appointed to policy lead for care services and depute policy lead for planning and regulatory services.
After many years of failures by the SNP government in Holyrood, many in the constituency feel that they have been ignored and left behind. Amanda understands the issues that are important to local residents: from improved ferry services to better road conditions and a strong local business sector.
