Last weekend, Amanda Hampsey, the Scottish Conservative and Unionist candidate for the next general election in Argyll, Bute and South Lochaber, had a busy weekend campaigning in Helensburgh. During her campaigning, Amanda was joined by Dr Lisa Cameron MP as well as many other volunteers on the doors speaking with local residents about the issues that matter most to them.
Although the weather could have been better, the reception that Amanda and Lisa recieved on the doors was fantastic. It is clear that constituents are fed up with the failing SNP and are looking for a strong Scottish Conservative and Unionist voice to stand up for them in Westminster.
After the campaigning, Amanda said, "It's been a terrific weekend of campaigning in Helensburgh and I would like to thank Lisa Cameron and all the other volunteers who came out to support me. It's always great to hear from constituents abou the issues that matter most to them. I look forawrd to many more busy weekends of campaigning in the new year."
