The work of people supporting those with life-limiting conditions is being remembered on World Hospice and Palliative Care Day on Saturday.
Shadow Health Secretary Donald Cameron said: “World Hospice and Palliative Care Day is a reminder of the work being carried out to support people, and their friends and families, who have a life-limiting illness.
“As we know, everything has been made much harder by the restrictions caused by the pandemic, and this can lead to heart-breaking situations where family members are unable to spend time with their loved ones as they would have liked.
“This is all the more reason we should express our gratitude to everyone who is helping support those in care.”
