I have been out and about in my ward once again and I had the opportunity to catch up with my constituents in Bowmore.

As we transition out of the corona virus lock-down period both local and central government must do all that it can to assist small businesses who have been hit hard during the pandemic.

Also the need for affordable housing to purchase and not just to rent comes up time and time again from my constituents. It's only fair that hard working local residents are not excluded from home ownership.

When it comes to small business support and providing affordable housing to buy for local residents we in local government and those in central government must not shirk from our responsibilities.

As your local councillor I will continue to work relentlessly to make sure that my ward is not sidelined.
