Sturgeon is still defending her approach to the Nike conference. It has now emerged that a kilt fitter called Gillian Russel became ill after working, face to face, with 5 conference delegates.

As Sturgeon chose to keep this outbreak secret, it was weeks until Russel realised she had been infected. Sturgeon won’t apologise and is still hiding behind public health officials. It’s time Sturgeon was honest with the Scottish public.

This news comes out as 16,000 businesses across Scotland are still waiting for their support grants from the SNP. When businesses do get their money, it’s less generous than in England. Small businesses will be vital to our economic revival. It’s vital they get the support they need.
