Islay road resembles surface of the moon

I was back in Port Ellen recently speaking to my constituents and listening to their concerns.

While the junction box repair at North Bay is very welcome the problems with the many potholes and over grown pavements still remain in that area and as such this must be addressed. There are large potholes on Frederick Crescent and near the Cal Mac ferry port. Also the combination of patchwork repairs and unfilled potholes are making it so that Mansefield Rd resembles the surface of the moon rather than a fit for purpose road on Islay.

I will continue to push for infrastructure improvements in Port Ellen and across the Kintyre and Islands ward.
