I have been criss-crossing Kintyre today as I visited, heard from and spoke to constituents and local business owners in Skipness, Whitehouse, Clachan and Muasdale.
I heard many concerns on the door step including slow internet speed, mobile phone signal black spots, the constant occurrences of problems with the A83 trunk road network, the importance of retaining our small schools, potholes, and worries about the lack of over all competence from the Scottish Government in their running of devolved matters.
I also heard from many non traditional Conservative supporters who have told me that it is great to see a local Councillor actively engaged with the local area and important local issues.
As I have said before it is my aim to be a Councillor who is visible, accessible and happy to speak to the men and women on the street all year round and not only seen at election time and in press releases.
