The Prime Minister has made clear we will not allow a second independence referendum. We are only just beginning to emerge from this health crisis, and the economic crisis has barely begun.

It is not the time for a divisive referendum that puts at risk the extraordinary support from the UK Government – including the protection of 900,000 Scottish jobs.

The UK armed forces have also airlifted critically ill patients from remote communities, helped build temporary hospitals and run mobile testing sites.

The SNP should focus on saving lives and jobs and drop their constitutional obsession for once.
