Rishi Sunak and the UK Government have protected nearly 900,000 Scottish jobs.
New figures published recently show the UK Treasury has paid the wages of 736,500 furloughed Scots, and 155,000 self-employed people in Scotland have accessed income support.
That means more than a third of workers in Scotland have been directly supported by the UK Government during this pandemic.
The Chancellor said he would do whatever it takes – and he’s saved livelihoods across the country, helping people provide for themselves and their family. We are in this together.
