It was great to be back on Colonsay to speak to my constituents and visit local businesses. The poor condition of local infrastructure including roads and street lighting was mentioned numerous times by local residents.

Mobile phone signal and broadband speeds has also been mentioned as a key issue. The recent covid-19 pandemic has highlighted the ongoing digital divide between rural and urban Scotland.

I'm looking forward to my next visit to Colonsay soon.
