I am delighted that at long last and after both the roads department and SSE initially refused to accept responsibility for the work done to the street lighting power connection in North Bay, Port Ellen and refused to instruct their staff to fix it, our council roads and streetlight department has worked with SSEN to resolve the situation and has confirmed that the improvement to the street-lighting cabling has now been made.

This is great news and I trust that in future such needless delays and excuses when faults are highlighted will not happen anymore. When it comes to anything electrical all haste must be given to any response. A huge thank you to the hard working front line roads and SSE men who rectified this fault. As you can tell from the before and after pictures provided the improvement is substantial.
