It was great to be out and about in my ward again visiting my constituents in the villages of Bowmore, Bridgend and Bruichladdich.
Numerous pressing local issues were raised including the need to reopen all of our public toilets as soon as possible and littering which unfortunately extends to people using our sand bins as waste bins. Other issues raised were the broken glass and refuse in the car park across from Willow Bank and Beach Avenue, and the terrible condition of our phone boxes.
The Kilnaughton Cemetery and it's poor condition due in part to the ongoing rabbit and hare infestation has also been brought to my attention once again. On all of these very important local matters and more I will continue to work tirelessly to have them resolved.
