Tim Eagle MSP was elected as an MSP for the Highlands and Islands Region in February 2024.
Coming from a background in agriculture and farming, Tim was most recently a land agent before entering Holyrood, and he runs a small sheep farm near Buckie alongside his wife and three children.
In October 2024, Tim was appointed by Russell Findlay MSP as the Scottish Conservative's Shadow Cabinet Secretary for Rural Affairs, Land Reform and Fishing, and was appointed by Parliament to sit on the Rural Affairs and Islands Committee.
Tim is a member of the Cross Party Group on Fair Trade and the Cross Party Group on Fisheries and Coastal Communities.
Prior to his election to the Scottish Parliament, Tim served as a Councillor for the Buckie ward on Moray Council between 2017 - 2022, and he was the Group Leader for the Scottish Conservative and Unionist group during that time.
