Senior Labour figures now support Inydref2, they included Shadow Health Secretary Monica Lennon and Former MP Ged Killin, who are already succumbing to Sturgeon’s demands for a second independence referendum.

We knew they were weak on the Union and they clearly have no plan to try and protect it. In stark contrast to Labour's weakness the Conservative majority UK Government will put strengthening the Union at the centre of its agenda.

Michael Gove has made it clear that the UK Government will be resolute in protecting the Union and will reject Sturgeon’s demand for a second independence referendum.

The SNP made this election about Brexit, not independence, we will not let them drag us into another divisive referendum that people don’t want.

A Conservative majority will see Britain move on, get Brexit sorted, and a focus on a return to our vital public services.

Only the Scottish Conservatives are serious about protecting the Union and moving on from this constitutional division.
