I have been checking up on the progress of any pothole filling taking place across the Rinns side of Islay today.

While to it was great to see our hard working roads men doing jet patching in many areas there is still substantial work that needs to be done.

These areas include Main Street Port Wemyss that has large craters along with continuing flooding issues and large potholes on the Portnahaven Port Charlotte back road.

I have contacted the roads department and asked them to do some much needed pothole filling in these areas and across Islay and Jura more generally.
