It was great to be back in Bowmore to see first hand the resurfacing being done by our hard working roads-men at the bottom of Main Street.

This is an area that I have been campaigning to see resurfaced for some time and It's wonderful to see it finally getting done.

While many more areas across Islay still need to be done, like Mansfield Road in Port Ellen to give just one example, this is certainly a huge step in the right direction.

I will continue to fight for better roads thought the Kintyre and Islands ward.
