Cllr Yvonne McNeilly, Policy Lead for Education, visited Lochgilphead Joint Campus today to launch a new school menu. Sitting down to her lunch of a delicious baguette made at the campus she admitted "I have the best job in all of Argyll and Bute as Education Policy Lead"

Witnessing the dinner hall in full operation during her lunchtime visit, Cllr McNeilly paid tribute to staff and pupils alike for the great atmosphere, and high quality menu on offer.

Cllr McNeilly said:

"It has been a privilege to visit Lochgilphead Joint Campus today. I have seen how busy it is during lunchtime, and I must thank our great catering staff who have been working flat out to provide really high quality food for our kids .

"The happy atmosphere and very well behaved children are testament to the quality of lunchtime menu on offer here, served up by an efficient team of catering staff."  

So pleased with what she saw at the campus she added "to all our families, make sure your wee ones...and getting bigger ones, have their school lunch at this really great facility."
