I have been getting numerous justifiable complaints about water pooling on either side of the bridge between the bus shelter and Distillery House B&B in Port Charlotte.

This problem has become much more pronounced since the recent pavement work completed by our hard working roads men. Our roads department have informed me they are currently unable to do a permanent repair but in the meantime, a temporary fix will take place in the near future.

While it is important to remember that our roads department's actions are limited by the funding they receive I would implore them to provide a long term repair job for safety and convenience reasons.
