Today I was back in Portnahaven and Port Wemyss putting out Ruth's latest questionnaire letters and speaking to my local constituents.

There is still a lot of justifiable anger over the roads department's lack of action in fixing the street lights in Shore Street, Port Wemyss and the poor condition of roads in both villages.

I have had the similar concerns raised by local residents in Port Ellen in regards to whole streets with no working lights and the terrible condition of roads and pavements in North Bay. 

I'm also still receiving fruitful information from my constituents in the numerous returned surveys. Even if you don't hear back from myself right away be rest assured that I am working non stop on anything that is brought to my attention.
