It was great to meet my constituents at my latest surgery on the Isle of Gigha today. I also got a chance to visit Gigha's terrific and fast growing local businesses.

I heard numerous concerns about the need for Gigha's ferry and ferry port to be ungraded, the poor state of roads, slow internet speed, substandard mobile phone signal, flooding of land around the Fyne Home new builds and the shockingly slow response times in dealing with repair jobs from Argyll's housing associations.

I will keep pressing for a solution to these numerous problems facing Gigha and the rest of the Kintyre and Islands ward. I hope it visit Gigha again very soon.
