While speaking to many of my constituents and visiting local business on my latest trip to Bowmore I was concerned when I was shown first hand just how bad some of the local pavements are.
I have been and will continue to push for investment in the tens of thousands to be put into getting our crumbling pavements up to scratch. Our pavements much like our roads network needs regular investment.
In Port Charlotte I spoke directly to our hard working roads men as they were re-tarring pavements in the village. This work is hugely welcome and long overdue. It also shows what our roads teams can achieve when given the resources they need.
