I was back in Bruichladdich again today catching up with local residents and discussing many important local and national issues.

Again and again I'm being told of the need for infrastructure to match our economic growth. In my new role as policy lead for economic growth I will be continuing to do all that I can to push for better infrastructure, particularly in areas with large industrial growth. I'm hearing from many of my constituents that just want to get Brexit done and stop the never ending constitutional debates.

I have also heard from some local residents that although they may not agree with my politics they are supporting me as a strong local voice for Islay and the wider Kintyre and Islands ward.
