I was delighted to visit my constituents in Port Ellen today. I had the opportunity to speak to local residents about their concerns in regards to the poor condition of roads, recent ferry disruptions, mobile phone signal problems and the condition of social housing in the area.

I also met up with our new intake of party members some of whom have not been Conservative and Unionist supporters until recently.

Port Ellen much like the rest of Islay and the Kintyre and Islands ward have been ignored for far to long. Now, with myself as an active local Councillor fighting every day for our ward, this will change.
