I was delighted to discuss Argyll and Bute's many pressing education priorities with our hard working policy lead for education, Councillor Yvonne McNeilly at a recent meeting.

I was updated on our council's progress in making sure that everyone entitled to free school meals are receiving them, the hard work and long hours our teaching staff are putting in across the board, the success in investing in new school buildings as-well as future development plans, and the education attainment gap in Scotland.

Both in the Kintyre and Islands ward and across Argyll and Bute we Conservatives are working relentlessly to address the growing challenges facing education in our rural constituency.
