I am happy to confirm that there will be A83 maintenance works that will start on Tuesday 14th May with an earlier completion date of Wednesday 19th June.

The work will take place on the A83 North of Clachan, A83 Tayinloan to Killean, A83 Erines, A83 Ardrishaig to Brenfield Phase 1, A83 Middle Kames and A83 Dunderave.

This latest batch of maintenance is long overdue and very welcome indeed. Many of my constituents on the Kintyre peninsula have been contacting me day after day with their justifiable concerns in regards to our trunk roads.

Since being elected I have been pressing BEAR Scotland and the Scottish Government for real investment and a long term solution to the problems with the A83 network. I will continue to do so at every opportunity.
