I was visiting my constituents again in Bowmore today as I have been received numerous complaints about the shockingly slow broadband speed in the area.

My constituents are having to pay for a service that they are simply not receiving. While upgrades are continuing to our broadband infrastructure across Islay it is understandable that there would be some disruptions but the fact that the internet speed has been getting slower and slower is unacceptable.

This is a problem that is occurring across Islay, Jura and the rest of the Kintyre and Islands ward as our lines undergo much needed upgrades. I will once again contact BT Openreach and press them to look into these disruptions and finish off improving our network in a timely manner.
