The SNP-run economy in Scotland is trailing behind the rest of the UK. Scottish GDP grew by just 0.3 per cent during the third quarter of 2018. This is only half the rate of growth for the UK as a whole – 0.6 per cent and the recent forecast by the Scottish Fiscal Commission said Scotland’s growth will continue to lag up to 2022.
Unfortunately we’re stuck in a downward spiral with the SNP. Sturgeon should drop her indyref2 obsession and focus on energising the Scottish economy.
