I have been receiving many understandable complaints from local residents in Carradale about the terrible condition of the pavements at Woodside.

While our council has to constantly battle with our own budgetary constraints, leaving this pavement and others to fall into such a state of disrepair should not be allowed to become the new norm.

Living in a 21st century industrialised country, we should not have to put up with pavements that would not look out of place in a Flintstones cartoon.

I have raised the unsafe condition of this pavement and others with our roads department and I'm sure our hard working front line roads-men will do all that they can to rectify this problem.
